Guy-Am-I
Green Eggs and Ham is a popular dish that is shown in every episode throughout the series. From the episodes "Here" to "The Mom Who Loved Me", Sam-I-Am tried to convince Guy to try the food. Guy-Am-I refused before finally accepting in "Anywhere". Throughout the show, there are many forms of this dish, including Green Eggs and Ham and Noodles, Green Eggs and Ham on a stick, Green Eggs and Ham Sandwich.
History[]
"Here"[]
Green Eggs and Ham first appeared as a dish served at Donna's Diner. This is where Sam first met Guy, who said he doesn't like the dish, but Sam orders it for everyone saying they were especially good at the diner. He refers to the place as "here" like in the books.
"Car"[]
In the desert, Guy hallucinates green eggs and ham everywhere. After that, Sam picks him up in the car he stole from McWinkle and Gluntz. When offered again, Guy responds with the classic sentence from the book, "I will not eat them in a car." Confused, Sam said that it was oddly specific of him to say that.
"Train"[]
Guy and Sam met with Michellee Weebie-Am-I and E.B. Weebie on a train to Meepville. In the dining car, Sam ordered green eggs and ham for everyone, but Guy once again refused, instead going with his usual sad oat meals.
"Fox"[]
Michael the fox was fond of green eggs, even being in love with a green chicken named Sandra. Sam thought green eggs and ham would taste great with a fox, it's a very rare occurrence.
"Dark"[]
Upon landing in a junkyard, Sam found a vending machine that served green eggs and ham. When they're fire went out, he said they tasted great in the dark due to heightened senses, but Guy still refused to try it.
"Box"[]
Sam managed to get some green eggs and ham carnival food. As he and Guy are packaged in a box sent to Shvizelton, Guy refuses to try them again.
"Mouse"[]
They served green eggs and ham in the jail that Sam, Guy and Squeaky were in. Sam said they were surprisingly good with a mouse, but Guy still refused.
"Rain"[]
Sam eats green eggs and ham outside of Michellee's cabin during a thunderstorm. He said the precipitation created some sort of gravy, but Guy was worried that the fork would act like a lightning rod. He was immediately right, but Sam found the extra crispy food delicious too.
"Goat"[]
As Guy confronts The Goat outside, Sam makes some green eggs and ham. The Goat thought they were delicious, but Guy toughly told he didn't like them with a goat.
"House"[]
Sam makes green eggs and ham for Guy's family, saying they were really good in a house. He later brings them to Guy's old treehouse where they could talk.
"Boat"[]
On a ferry to Meepville, E.B. orders green eggs and ham at a restaurant. Sam told her that was a good choice, saying they tasted excellent on a boat.
"There"[]
At B.A.D.M.E.N., Guy chews Sam out for lying to him. Sam tries to get him to calm down by offering him green eggs and ham and putting in on the desk in front of him, calling it "there". This causes same to angrily snap, smashing the food, throwing it against the wall and saying his iconic line from the book. However, he goes too far by saying Sam doesn't fit anybody, not even his own mother.
"Anywhere"[]
To make it up to Sam for what he said, Guy finally decided to try some green eggs and ham at a cold air balloon airport. Sam told him that they were good anywhere, and when he eats an egg, Guy realizes he liked them after all. To Sam's surprised enjoyment, Guy then says his iconic lines from the end of the original book, but this moment is ruined by the arrival of McWinkle, Gluntz and Snerz.
